Tour Itinerary :
Day 01  ARRIVE  PARO

Morning transfer to International airport to board flight for Paro.

Depart Delhi by KB 108 at 1140 hrs
Arrive Paro at 1545 hrs

The flight into Himalayas from Kathmandu onwards reveals the breathtaking views of the great peaks, taking
you right Dragon Kingdom, Cloud scrapping air strip at Paro altitude (7000 ft.).

Bhutanese Tout Escort from Discovery Full Circle Tours will greet you on arrival and will escort you to the hotel in Paro.

Day 02 - PARO / THIMPU
The day begins with a drive through the Paro valley to see Drukgyel Dzong. enroute you see 7th century Kyichu Lhakhang, one of the oldest monasteries in the Kingdom. from nearby, you can also get a view of one of the most reverend pilgrimage site of Buddhist world, the Taktsang (tiger’s Nest) Lhakhang perched precariously on a sheer rock face. (visit closed to tourist) The Drukgyel Dzong is a historical ruin from where Bhutanese replied the Tibetan invaders. You will visit afternoon, you will take the unique two hour drive to Thimpu - the capital of Bhutan.
Day 03 - THIMPU
Breakfast at hotel.

This morning you visit the National library, the school of Thang paintings and traditional Medicine institute. Then visit handicrafts emporium to see the exquisite artistry on traditional crafts and textile and take a little stroll through the streets for shopping.

After lunch visit the memorial Chorten to his late majesty          King Jigme Dorji Wanchuck and also visit Tashichho Dzong ( fortress of the glorious religion) built in 1641.  Evening witness mask and folk dance performed by the Royal Academy of Performing arts. (for groups only)

Overnight at hotel.

Day 04 - THIMPU/ WANGDI PHODRANG
Breakfast at hotel.

A three hour drive over spectacular Dochula Pass (3100mts) will bring you to Punakha Dzong, once seat of old capital of Bhutan and winter residence of Je Khenpo  (head Abbot). After lunch a short journey (40 minutes) brings you to Wangdiphordrang Dzong on a hill over the junction of Puna Tsangchu and the Drangchu.

On arrival check in at hotel. Overnight hotel.

Day 05 - WANGDI PHORDRANG / PHUNTSHOLING
Breakfast at hotel. 5-6 hrs drive to Phuntsholing the border town, drive through some of the most beautiful terraced fields of Bhutan. The journey cuts across terrace climbing from 500 mts to 2400 mts in the middle Himalayas.   Upon arrival check in at hotel.  Overnight at hotel.
Day 06 - PHUNTSHOLING/ KALIMPONG
Today you will be transferred to Kalimpong which is a small Buddhist town in the state of West Bengal. It is 6-7 hours between Phuntsholing and Kalimpong.

Afternoon visit Kalimpong town and monastery nearby. Overnight at hotel.

Day 07 - KALIMPONG/ GANGTOK
After breakfast mountain drive through Teesta Valley to Gangtok (5000 ft above sea level) the capital city of erstwhile princely state of Sikkim.

This tiny town at first glimpse, looks like something out of a fairy tale with houses which seem precariously balanced on the slopes of the step mountain hills.

On arrival check in at hotel.

Day 08 - GANGTOK
Breakfast at hotel. Morning city sightseeing visiting the Enchey Monastery, The Residency for an excellent view of  the mountains, the white Memorial hall, Tibetology Institute and Deer park.

Afternoon take a trip across the valley to  visit the famous RUMTEK monastery built by the 4th Chogyal -was damaged in a earthquake and was rebuilt. The 16th Gyalwa H.H. Karmapa after he escaped from Tibet, settled and lived in this monastery till completion of the Dharma Chakra centre nearby.

Return to Gangtok for overnight stay.

Day 09 - GANGTOK / DARJEELING
Morning drive to Darjeeling and check in at the hotel.  Rest of the afternoon is left free for independent activities.  Overnight at the hotel.

Day 10 - AT DARJEELING
Early morning drive to Tiger Hill to see Sunrise over Mount Kanchenjunga. On return visit Ghoom Monastery built in 1875 housing a huge statue of Lord Buddha.

Afternoon city tour visiting the most beautiful Hill station in the Eastern India, which has the highest race course in the world, the Lablong village, the mountaineering institute and house of Tenzin Norgay the first Everest              Hero.
Overnight at hotel.

Day 11 - DARJEELING TO NEW JALPAIGURI TO GUWAHATI
Morning free to relax or explore Darjeeling.  Afternoon transfer to New Jalpaiguri Railway Station to board overnight train for Guwahati.  Overnight on board.

Day 12 - ARRIVE GUWAHATI
Meeting on arrival at Guwahati Airprot / Railway Station and proceed to Shillong (130 kms).  Check in at the hotel on arrival for overnight stay.  Rest of the time free to relax from long train and road travel.  Overnight at the hotel.

Day 13 -  Shillong / Cherrapunjee / Shillong
After an early breakfast proceed for an excursion to Cherrapunjee which is known as wettest place in the world.  Drive through the pine forest for around two hours will take you to Chirrapunjee.  Arrive and  visit some famous waterfalls and impressive limestone caves.  Later return to Shillong for ovrnight stay.

Day 14  - Shillong to Barapani
Breakfast at the hotel.  Proceed to barapani by car.  Arrive and check in at the hotel.  Later visti barapani Lake, Elephant falls and Shillong peak.  Overnight at the hotel.

Day 15  - Barapani to Kaziranga
After breakfast at the hotel drive around 6 hours to rech Kaziranga National park.  Arrive and check in at the jungle lodge. Kaziranga National Park is the home to Great Indian One Horned Rhinoceros.  You will have a chance to see Elephants, Idian bison, species of deer, tiger, leopard, capped lagur, wild boar and hoolock gibbon etc.  Overnight at the lodge.

Day 16 - At Kaziranga
Morning afte breakfast at the lodge proceed to the jungle for game viewing.  Return to the lodge for lunch.  Later proceed to the park again for game viewing. Overnight at the lodge.

Day 17 - Kaziranga to Derang
After breakfast at the hotel leave for Derang by car in around 8 and half hours.  Arrive and check in at the hotel.  Rest of the day at leisure.  Overnight at the hotel.

Day 18 - Derang
Morning after breakfast at the hotel proceed to visit Sulphur spring which is said to be a good skin ailment cure.  Later visit apple orchids, Dirang Dzong the oldest village structure built  500 year ago.  Later visit Tomhill view point for natural beauty.  Overnight at the hotel.

Day 19 - Derang to Tawang
Morning after breakfast at the hotel leave by car to reach Tawang in 5 hours.  You will drive of the second highest SELA pass today.  Arrive and check in at the hotel hotel. Rest of the time is left free for your independent activities or to relax.  Overnight at the hotel.

Day 20 - At Tawang
Morning after breakfast at the hotel commence sightseeing tour to visit Tsongeswar Lake, Paradise Lake, Craft Centre (carpet weaving factory) and Tawang Monastery – second largest Buddhist monastery in the world.

Day 21 - Tawang to Nameri
Morning after breakfast at the hotel leave for Nameri by car in 9 hours time.  Arrive and check in at the hotel.  Rest of the time is left free for independent activities.  Overnight at the hotel.

Day 22 - Nameri to Guwahatic
Morning after breakfast at the hotel visit Nameri National park for wild life viewing.  You will see White Winged Wood-Duck.  Park has Elephants, Tiger, Leopards, Sambar an Barking dee, wild boar, gaur, wild dogs and a variety of birds including four species of Hornbill.  After lunch leave for Guwahati by car.  Arrive and check in at the hotel for overnight stay.

Day 23  - Depart Guwahari
Transfer to the airport / railway station in time to board your flight / train for onward destination.
