ITINERARY:
Day 1 : Arrive Jammu-Katra
Arrive Jammu, the city of temples, transfer to Katra (50 Kms, 2 Hrs) Check into the hotel, Freshen-up and start the journey to Mata Vaishno Devi (13 Kms, 4 Hrs trek) , After Darshan & offering prayers return to Katra by late evening Overnight at hotel.

Day 2: Katra-Patnitop
After breakfast drive to Patnitop (80Kms, 3 Hrs). This famous hill resort is perched on a beautiful plateau, at an altitude of 2024 meters across which the Jammu-Srinagar highway passes. Enveloped by thickly wooded forests, Patnitop offers beautiful picnic spots, peaceful walks and breathtaking views of the mountains conifers. A place for a quiet holiday, the meadow has now been developed as a golf course. Enjoy the scenic beauty of this heavenly place, Overnight at hotel.

Day 3 :Patnitop-Srinagar
After breakfast leave for Srinagar (200 Kms, 6 Hrs) Arrive Srinagar, pride of the beautiful valley of Kashmir famous for its lakes dotted with Shikaras and the Mughal Gardens.Transfer to House boat/ Hotel.. day at leisure,shikara ride to Nehru Park in the evening, Overnight in the Deluxe House Boat/hotel

Day 4: Srinagar - Gulmarg - Srinagar
This morning you will proceed for a full day excursion to Gulmarg, Meadow of Flowers ( 56 kms /2 hrs) situated at an altitude of 2730 meters, full day at leisure to take the leisurely walks on the lush green meadows of flowers with a backdrop of the snow capped mountains. Enjoy pony ride or Gondola ride (rope way) to Khillanmarg at your own cost, Return to Srinagar , Overnight in the Deluxe House Boat/hotel

Day 5: Srinagar
Excursion to the Mughal gardens built by Emperor Jehangir. Also visit to the Shalimar bagh & Nishat bagh other beautiful gardens located on the eastern side of the Dal lake. Overnight in the Houseboat/Hotel

Day 6: Srinagar - Pahalgam
Today you will be transferred by road to Pahalgam (94 kms/2.5 hrs) Valley of Shepherds . Enroute you will have an rare opportunity to visit the Saffron fields. Also visit Avantipura Ruins & Anantnag Sulpher Springs enroute, Arrive and proceed to your hotel, rest of the day at leisure to explore the countryside and enjoy leisurely walks through the pine forest along the river Lidder, overnight at the hotel

Day 7: Pahalgam- Jammu
After Breakfast leave for Jammu (255 Kms, 7 Hrs), check into the hotel, visit to Raghunath Temple in the evening, overnight at hotel.

Day 8: Depart Jammu
After breakfast, transfer to airport for your onward flight back home

Useful Information To Make It Clear:

1- We request you advise to strictly follow the time for all the sightseeing tours and transfers as per the program.

2- The vehicle provided will Non - air-conditioned and will be available for listed sightseeing tours only. In certain sensitive areas the vehicles are not allowed to stop or wait. We request you to inform the clients not to force the driver to stop the vehicle at such places, against his advice.

3- J&K Tourism department has started to close one garden on different days of the week for maintenance. hence on the day of Mughal Garden tour if one of the Mughal Gardens is closed you will be taken to the Botanical gardens instead.

4- Discovery Full Circle Tours as your ground Tour operators reserve the right to make changes to the tour programme if required, without any prior information, but of course without compromising the services.

5- There are certain aspects of the tour which, we as travel agents, do not have any control. Hence we would like you to aware of such areas so you too can enlighten yourself. One such aspect is shopping. Lots of sellers will come to the hotels & houseboats to sell their goods. We take no responsibility whatsoever for the rates and quality. Second such aspect is pony rides in Sonmarg, Gulmarg & Pahalgam. We take no responsibility for services and charges of ponywallas. Though for tourist’s convenience the Union rates are displayed at most of the places. Third aspect is power cuts. These are regular and sometimes for long durations. Hotels & houseboats have generator back-up but only up to 11 p.m. at night after which the generators are switched off due to noise disturbance. After 11 PM if situation arises than you will be provided with candles.

6- Transfers by Shikara from Shikara ghat to houseboat and back are provided free of cost, however occasionally during the season you may have to wait for 5-10 minutes for the shikara to come and pick you up as each houseboat has one attached shikara.
