Bhutan Valley Tour Itinerary:

Day 01 – Arrive Paro
Upon arrival Airport and drive to Thimpu - around 1 ½ hrs. Check into the hotel. Your short drive from Thimpu will go through countryside where you will have your first glimpse of local life.

Later in the evening time permitting you may consider to visit National Textile Museum, Handicraft Centre and Zorig Chusum (art and craft institute). Overnight at the hotel.

Day 02 – At Thimpu
Morning breakfast and comment sightseeing tour to visit Thimpur Valley, Hike through the forest to Cheri enroute visiti Trashichhoe Dzong – Seat of Bhutan's Government, visit Pangri Zampa – 16th century buildings - now training school for astrologers.

Rest of the day at leisure or you may opt to visit National Liberary which houses ancient Buddhist Manuscripts, Paper Making Factory, Folk Heritage Museum and weekend market which takes place from Friday to Sunday. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 3 - Thimphu to Phobjikha Valley – 5 hrs drive
Post breakfast in the morning leave for Phobjikha Valley via Wangdue town and Semtokha Dzong – Fort built in 1629. Ascend to Dachu La to see 108 Stupas build by former Queen as a Memorial to the soldiers died in 2002 while fighting with Indian rebels. You will have some views of the Himalayas on clear days. You will drive through Wangdue Phodrang Dzong and Rinchengang Village – Craftmen's Village.

Arrive and check into the hotel. Later enjoy this beautiful open Glacial valley situated on the Western Slopes of Black Mountains. which was without electricity before 2011. Depending on the time of the year you encounter Black Necked Cranes during winter months migrates from Tibet. You will also see some of the wild animals like Barking deer, wild boars, Sambars, Himalayan black bears, leopards and red foxes. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 04 – At Phobjikha Valley
Morning after breakfast tour of Phobjikha Valley visiting Black Crane Nature Information Center, Carpet Factory, Sacred Gangtey Monastery, explore the Gangtey Village and time permitting you may like to hike to Gangtey Nature Trail. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 05 – Phobjikha to Punakha Valley – drive 3 hours
Morning after breakfast proceed to Punakha Valley – Winter Capital of Bhutan, enroute you will visit Wangdue. Check in at hotel on arrival at Punakha. Later tour of Chimi Lhakhang Monastery. In the afternoon enjoy exploring Punakha Valley and its surroundings. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 06 – At Punakha
Post breakfast tour of Punakha Dzong. In the afternoon hike to Khamsum Yulley Namgyel Chorten. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 07 – Punakha to Paro
Breakfast and leave for Paro Valley over Dochu La. Check in at hotel on arrival. Spend your afternoon exploring the main street of Paro offering good Jewellery and Handicrafts shopping.

Overnight at the hotel.

Day 08 – At Paro
Morning after breakfast walk uphill to visit Taktsang Monastery – also known as Tigers Nest. There are 2 ways to visit the Monastery, 1- drive and 2 hour hike, 2- 5 hour steep hike.

In the afternoon tour of Kyichu Lhakhand (time permitting)- Oldest Temple In Bhutan, Also visit Drugyl Dzong – Ruined Fortress. You may have a glimpls of Mount Chomolhari on a clear day.

Overnight at the hotel.

Day 09 – At Paro
Leave for full day trip Chele La (highest Motorable road of Bhutan) and Beautiful Haa Valley. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 10 – Depart Paro

Transfer to airport to board flight for onward destination.
