Located on the western coast of India, Daman is the capital of Union Territory Daman and Diu. It is located in the premises of many important towns of Gujarat including Silvassa, Bilimora, Bhilad-Sarigam, and Vapi.

The small town Daman is very beautiful; the population of the city is of multi-ethnic group those are migrated from different parts of India specifically in search of job. The city life of Daman is also pretty peaceful with having all infrastructures and other amenities including, road, markets, schools, colleges, hospitals and various other public buildings. In addition, there are also small and medium class industries such as chemicals, fertilizers, pesticides, electronics, plastics, printing ink, dyes, windmills and many more.

How to Reach??
By Road: Daman is well linked with the nearby cities and towns of Gujarat. NH 8 is the major highway crosses through Daman. Once you reached Surat, Vapi etc you can reach here by local bus services and private taxi.
By Rail: Located at the distance of about 12 km from the main centre of Daman, Vapi is the main railway station, which links it some major cities of India including Mumbai.
By Air: Daman has no airport.
