Tirupat City
The Holy City of Tirupat is located in the south eastern side
of Andhra Pradesh in district Chittoor. Tirupati is known as the
abode of the Hindu God 'Venkateshwara', and is famous for the
Venkateswara temple in the sacred Tirumala hills situated at an
elevation of 860m.
One of the most important pilgrimage centers
in India. The temple attracts millions of pilgrims and is believed
to be the busiest pilgrimage centre in the world. There are several
other temples in Tirupati and is famous for its red wooden toys,
copper and brass idols
