Itinerary:
Day 01 - Arrive Delhi.
Arrive at New Delhi International Airport. Met with your airport
representative and transfer to hotel. Overnight stay at the Hotel.
Day 02 - At Delhi
Morning after breakfast at the hotel commence full day sightseeing
tour of Old and New Delhi.
Evening Indian Dinner at one of the city restaurant. Overnight
stay at hotel.
Day 03 - Delhi / Agra - Drive 4 hours
- Taj Mahal remain closed on Fridays
Morning met your driver at hotel lobby and drive to Agra (205 km
/ 4 hours drive). Enroute stop at Sikandra
to see Akbar's tomb. Check in at your hotel on arrival for overnight
stay. Afternoon visit the world famous Taj Mahal and
Red Fort of Agra. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 04 - Agra -Peharsar -Drive time
approximate 5 hours –
Breakfast at hotel. Morning - drive from Agra to Jaipur (5
hours). Stop enroute to visit Fatehpur Sikri 40
kms (25 miles) on Agra Jaipur highway - a cultural and imperial
capital conceived and built by Emperor Akbar in 1569 and later abandoned
due to scarcity of water. See the graceful buildings within the
city including Jama Masjid, Tomb of Salim
Chisti and Panch Mahal.
After visiting Fatehpur Sikri drive another half an hour to reach
Bharatpur Bird Sanctuary to visit by horse cart or cycle Rickshaw
arranged by our driver.
After visiting Bharatpur Bird Sanctuary continue driving another
half an hour to reach village Peharsar. Check in at Chandra
Mahal Haveli hotel on arrival. Later visit village by camel
cart or walk through to see local life from close. Overnight
at the hotel.
Day 05-Peharsar to Jaipur
Morning after breakfast at the hotel proceed to Jaipur
in around 3 hours time and check in at the hotel.
Afternoon commence City sightseeing tour of Jaipur.
Day 06 - At Jaipur
Morning after breakfast at the hotel visit Amber
Fort and enjoy an Elephant ride.
Rest of the day free for independent activities or walk through
the narrow streets of old part of the city. Overnight at the
hotel.
Day 07 - Jaipur to Delhi
Morning after relaxed breakfast at the hotel proceed to Delhi by
car in around 5 hours time. Afternoon is left to relax or
for independent activities. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 08-Delhi to Bagdogra -Fly - Transfer
to Darjeeling
Morning after relaxed breakfast at the hotel transfer to
the airport in time to board flight for Bagdogra at 10.10 AM .
Meeting on arrival at Bagdogra Airport at 2.05 PM and transfer to
Darjeeling in around 3 hours time.
Day 09 - At Darjeeling
Early morning excursion to Tiger Hill and Ghoom Monastery.
After breakfast tour of Tibetan Refugee Centre, Himalayan Mountaineering
Institute, Zoo. Afternoon visit Happy Valley. Overnight
at the hotel.
Overnight at the hotel.
Day 10 - Darjeeling / Gangtok
Morning drive to Gangtok through tea plantation.
Check in at hotel on arrival. Rest of the time at leisure.
Day 11 - At Gangtok
Morning after breakfast at the hotel tour of Rumtek Monastery,
Tibetology & Do Drul Chorten. Afternoon visit Enchey Monastery
and cottage Industry. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 12 -Gangtok / Kalimpong
Morning after breakfast at the hotel drive to Kalimpong
and check in at hotel. Afternoon free to explore Kalimpong
on your own. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 13 -Kalimpong / Bagdogra to Delhi
- Fly
Morning after breakfast at the hotel transfer to Bagdogra
to board Delhi bound flight. Meeting on arrival at Delhi airport
and transfer to the hotel for overnight stay.
Day 14 - At Delhi
Full day free for independent activities or last minute
shopping. Car will stay at disposal for 8 hours and 80 kms.
Overnight at the hotel.
Day 15 - Depart Delhi
Transfer to the airport in time to board flight for onward
destination.
