Overview:
After flying into Leh exploring around Leh for 3days visit monasteries and understand its culture, you will drive to Rumtse 80km from Leh on the leh Manali Leh high way, from here you could explore the valley of rupshu and Kharnak ranges, This is the only area where one could get to see Tibetan argali the largest wild sheep in the world, your trek will finish in Tsokar also known as white lake where the nomads used to extract salt from here. Apart from it one could enjoy the rare wild species like black neck crane; wild ass etc. after exploring the wild of Changthang you will be driving back to Leh through Taglang la the world 3rd highest motorable pass.
Day 01: Arrival / day at leisure
Upon arrival at Leh Airport you will meet by the representative and transfer to hotel, rest of the day at leisure to acclimatize.

Day 02: excursion to Shey, Thiksey & Stok

Day 03: Leh – Alchi – Lamayuru - Leh

Day 04: Leh – Hemis – Rumtse trek to Kyamar (03 hrs drive 03-04 hrs trek)
After breakfast drive to Hemis Founded in 1630's by Stag-tsang-ras-pa under the royal patronage of Sengge Namgyal. Hemis is one of the largest and richest gompa of Ladakh. The two-day festival of monastic dance in June-July has raised the reputation of Hemis particularly high. The festival is dedicated to Guru Padmasambhava, popularly known as second Buddha and responsible for spreading Buddhism in the Tibetan world. Continue drive to Rumtse & trek to Kyamar by follow the river leaving (old jeep road) slightly up & you get to Kyamar

Day 05: Kyamar to Tisaling (05-06 hrs treks)
Mandalchand to La. First follow river slightly up (old jeep road) then easy ascent to Pass 4900m 30 minutes down to river, cross & opposite site ascent to next pass Kunar La 4900m, only in the last bit little steep. After the pass the track is nearly the same altitude and then gets down to Tisaling camping (1 hour)

Day 06: Tisaling – Pangunagu (05-06 hrs treks)
30 minutes "half steep" ascent to Shinbuk La (4850m), down the valley to the right, follow path around the mountain before Tsokar lake camping place in next to Chorten.

Day 07: Pangunagu to Tsokar Lake
2 hour to go around the lake (flat) and then camp for the night in Rigul

Day 08: Tsokar – Leh (04 hrs drive)
After breakfast drive to Leh via Thaklangla (pass world second highest motorable road).
