Drive to Mandawa the principal town of the Shekhawati region renowned for its splendid painted "Havelis" or mansions. Enroute to Mandawa, you visit the small towns of Nawalgarh, Dunlodh and Mukundgarh each equally famous for its Havelis with fascinating murals built by the wealthy Rajasthani merchants ("Marwaris") in the 19th Century.
