Tour Itinerary:
Day 01 - Fly from Delhi or Kolkata to Bagdogra Airport / Darjeeling
Meeting on arrival at Bagdogra airport and transfer
to Darjeeling. Check in at Hotel on arrival. Rest of
the day. Overnight at the hotel.
Darjeeling : Situated at 2134 m above sea level, Darjeeling was
acquired by the British from the Raja of Sikkim as a gift around
a hundred and fifty years ago, and developed it as a rest and recreational
center for their troops. Today the town retains many of the legacies
of the British Government.
Day 02 - At Darjeeling
Early morning excursion to Tiger Hill and Ghoom Monastery.
After breakfast tour of Tibetan Refugee Centre, Himalayan Mountaineering
Institute, Zoo. Afternoon visit Happy Valley. Overnight
at the hotel. Tiger Hill : An early morning trip to the Tiger
Hill promises an unique experience. A view of the sunrise amidst
the Himalayan range has earned it an international fame. Himalayan
Mountaineering Institute : It was founded in 1954 after the historic
conquest of Everest on the 29th of May in 1953, when two people
set foot atop Mount Everest. They were, Tenzing Norgay Sherpa from
Darjeeling and Sir Edmund Hillary from New Zealand. Himalayan Zoological
Park and Snow Leopard Breeding Centre : About 2 km. from the town,
this high altitude wild life park and new home of India's only collection
of the Siberian Tiger, Himalayan Black Bear.

Day 03 - Darjeeling / Gangtok
Morning drive to Gangtok through tea plantation.
Check in at HOTEL on arrival. Rest of the time at leisure.
Gangtok : This fairytale capital of Sikkim
in the clouds, balanced precariously on steep mountain slopes, surrounded
by lush rice terraces, swift flowing, gurgling, foaming rivers and
distant snow views, Gangtok reflects unique ambience which derives
from its happy blend of tradition and modernity. Alongside the deeply
felt presence of stupas and monasteries, Gangtok also bustles like
any other town. But with many of these oasis of quite, those unexpected
pockets of peace exists everywhere.
Day 04 - At Gangtok
Morning after breakfast at the hotel tour of Rumtek Monastery,
Tibetology & Do Drul Chorten. Afternoon visit Enchey Monastery
and cottage Industry. Overnight at the hotel.
Rumtek Monastery : The 24 km drive from the capital to Rumtek Monastery
is, in itself, worth the effort. Changing vistas of mountains unfold
at every bend and there are delightful vignettes of the hamlets
and fields of the people of rural Sikkim. Institute of Tibetology
: This organization is dedicated to furthering Tibetan studies,
Buddhist philosophy and religion. Enchey Monastery : An important
seat of the Nyingmapa order, the Enchey Monastery is built on the
site blessed by Lama Druptob Karpo, a tantric master known for his
power of flying. Do-Drul Chorten : One of the most important stupa
of Sikkim, it was built by Trulshi Rimpoche, head of the Nyingmapa
order of Tibetan Buddhism, in 1945. Inside the stupa, there are
complete mandala sets of Dorjee Phurba (Bajra Kilaya), a set of
Kan-gyur relics (holy books), Zung (mantras) and other religious
objects
Day 05 = Gangtok / Kalimpong
Morning after breakfast at the hotel drive to Kalimpong
and check in at Hotel. Afternoon free to explore Kalimpong
on your own. Overnight at the hotel. Nestled in the
foothills of the Himalayas, the town of Kalimpong is situated at
an altitude of 1,250 m. Forming a triangle with its most illustrious
neighbours, Darjeeling and Gangtok, it is in the northern part of
the state of West Bengal.

Day 06 - ; Kalimpong / Bagdogra
to Kolkata - Fly
Morning after breakfast at the hotel transfer to Bagdogra
Airport to board flight for Kolkata. Meeting and greetings
on arrival at Kolkata Airport and transfer to the hotel. Rest
of the day free to relax or enjoy the streets of Kolkata.
Overnight at the hotel.
Kolkata - The city is the
plinth for great architectural and constructional feats. These places
presents a definite epoch, an important figure or faith, presents
the historical account of the bygone days. The impressions embedded
throughout the city are still fresh and not more than 300 years
old. Unlike other places of attractions the city have not been gifted
by any ruler or dynasty. The places of interest as such encompasses
diverse fields and faculties.
Day 07 - At Kolkata
Morning after breakfast at the hotel commence full day
tour to visit Fort William, Eden Gardens, Victoria Memorial,
Saint Paul's Cathedral, Nakhoda Mosque, Marble Palace, Paresnath
Jain Temple, Belur Math, Kali Temple, Botanical Gardens, Mother
Teresa's homes, etc.
Day 08 = ; Kolkata to Bhubneshwar -
Train
Early morning transfer to the Railway Station to board
day train for Bhubneshwar. Meeting on arrival at Bhubneshwar
and transfer to the Hotel. Afternoon commence sightseeing
tour of Bhubheshwar. Bhubaneshwar, the capital city of Orissa
in East India and is famous for its beautiful temples. During your
sightseeing tour of Bhubneshwar you will visit Mukteshwar temple,
the Lingaraj temple, Rajarani temple, Brahmeswar temple and the
Parasurameswar temple. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 09- Bhubneshwar to Puri via Konark Temple
Morning after breakfast at the hotel proceed to Puri enroute visiting
Sun Temple at Konark Konark is world famous for the magnificent
Sun Temple. Built in sometimes near the 13th century to honor the
Hindu deity, the Sun God, the architecture of the temple is simply
fantastic. You can see and appreciate the bewitching shape of the
temple in the shape of a big chariot and the temple carvings. Check
in at Hotel on arrival at Pur for overnight stay.
Day 10 - At Puri
Today, you are free to spend your day at leisure. Move
on to explore the wonders of fascinating temple town in East India.
Puri is an important Hindu pilgrimage center in East India. Moreover,
it is also famous for its picturesque and pristine beach. Spend
some moments here watching the up and down waves and beautiful sand
sculptures made by professional or amateur artists. Take a tour
to the Jagannath Temple built in the 15th century. The temple hosts
Jagannath Yatra ceremonies that attract devotees and tourists all
over the world.
Day 11 Puri / Bhubneshwar / Kolkata
Morning after leisurely breakfast at the hotel proceed to Bhubneshwar
Railway Station to board Dhauli Express trainfer to Kolkata at 1.50
PM. Arrive Kolkata at 9.25 PM. Meeting on arrival at
Kolkata and transfer to the airport to board flight for onward destination.
