Arunachal Pradesh

Located in the north-east part of India, Arunachal Pradesh is more popularly known as ‘land of the rising sun’. It is he eastern most state of India and shares its political boundary with Assam and Nagaland in the south and it also shares international boundary with Myanmar in the east, China in the north and Bhutan in the west. Itanagar, the largest city of Arunachal Pradesh is the capital of state.

The meaning of Arunachal Pradesh is “land of the dawn-lit mountains”. However, by virtue of its location in the vicinity of The Great Himalaya Range, and with having natural landscapes, the region is pretty beautiful. Furthermore, at the lowest altitude, basically along the Arunachal Pradesh's border sharing with Assam, there is Brahmaputra Valley; which is lush with semi-evergreen forests. Much part of the state, including the Himalayan foothills and other hills like Patkai hills, are abode to Eastern Himalayan broadleaf forests. However, on the north side, along the China border, with increasing altitudes subalpine conifer forests, alpine shrub and at the highest peaks, ice is found.

Bomdila: Located at the altitude of 8000 ft above sea level, Bomdila is beautiful small town. The major attractions of the town are Buddhist monastery, the cultural centre and of course the view of snow clad mountains.
