Taj Mahal with Pushkar Fair (08 Nights / 09 Days)
Day 01 - Arrive to Delhi
Meet, Greet on arrival and transfer to the hotel for stay overnight.
Day 02 - At Delhi
Breakfast and tour of New and Old Delhi.
Tour of NEW DELHI include tour the Humayun's Tomb, Qutub Minar, War Memorial – India Gate, Photo stops at Parliament and President’s house, Lotus Temple and drove along Rajpath.
OLD DELHI tour will cover visiting the Raj Ghat – where father of the nation Mahatma Gandhi was cremated, Largest Jama Masjid in India built by Mughals, Red Fort and drive through the lanes of Chandani Chowk.
Day 03 - Delhi to Agra – drive 4 hours (Taj Mahal is closed on every Friday)
MMorning’s breakfast at hotel and move by car to reach Agra. Check into the hotel on arrival.
Afternoon first visit Agra Fort – a nice combination of red sand stone, white marble and beautiful Gardens built by Mughal emperor. Later visit a monument where twenty thousand men took twenty two years to built – The Taj Mahal – standing lovely on the banks of River Yamuna.
Evening witness live drama – Mohabbat The Taj – an excellent combination of the story of building Taj Mahal and Culture show from various parts of India. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 04 - Agra to Jaipur – 5 hours drive
Morning post breakfast leave to Jaipur and enroute visit Fatehpur Sikri- 16th Century monument built by Mughal King Akbar The Great. On the way also visit Abhaneri Step Well. Arrive Jaipur and check into the hotel. Rest of the evening at leisure. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 05 - At Jaipur
Morning breakfast and visit the impressive Amber Fort located on the Ridge of Aravali Hills. Enjoy uphill Elephant ride. Inside the Amber Fort Complex you will visit various palaces including Mirror Palace and other areas.
In the afternoon visit City palace museum, City Palace complex, Jantar mantar and Wind Palace.
In the evening enjoy dinner at local restaurant where you will have a chance to see folk dance and music. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 06 - Jaipur to Pushkar – 3 hours drive
After relaxed breakfast at the hotel leave for Pushkar and check into the tented camp on arrival.
The charm of visiting Pushkar during Pushkar fair time is very romantic. This little religious town or rather say village suddenly turns into very colorful bazaar, Pilgrimage Center, Traders Hub, Religious processions and you can see much more. Watching a circus where a car and couple of motor cycles run parallel to each other in wooden well which look so scary to us but these people do this in front of our eyes.
Pushkar mela ground makes it more romantic where you can see competition among camels, horses as Camels races, Horses races take place and best is awarded.
Day 07 – At Pushkar
Day free to visit Brahma Temple, Holy Pushkar Lake, Bazaar and fair ground for various activities.
Day 08 - Pushkar to Delhi via Ajmer - drive 7 hours
Morning after breakfast drive to Delhi via visiting Muslim Pilgrimage sherine of Ajmer Sharif or Dargah Sharif dedicated to Saint Khawaja Moinuddin Chishti who came here with Mohammad Ghori from Persia in 1192. Also visit fine monument of medieval period India and ancient Sanskrit Collage the Adhai din ka Jhonpra.
After visiting these sites continue your drive to Delhi with couple of wash room stops on the way and check into the hotel for overnight stay.
Day 09 - Delhi Departure
Transfer to airport to board home bound flight.
