Visit the oldest and holiest city in India- Varanasi, enjoy the boat ride on the holy ganges and witness the beauty of world famous Taj Mahal inAgra.

Rajasthan with Varanasi - Day Wise Itinerary

    Day 1 : Arrive New Delhi

    Welcome at Delhi’s international airport where our staff will meet you inside the arrival hall and accompany you to the hotel where accommodation will have been booked for your stay.

    Day 2 : Delhi

    After breakfast proceed for a day sightseeing tour of the city.
    Your days tour will start after breakfast at around 8 AM and you will be kept busy today by our Local English speaking guide showing you the different parts of Delhi today.
    While touring around Imperial Delhi you will visit Qutub Minar - the highest stone tower in the country, Lotus Temple – a White marble temple surrounded by pools on side and lush green surroundings, India Gate – War memorial, the Parliament house building from out side, and the Rastrapathi Bhawan or President's residence, Drive through Rajpath, Humuyun’s Tomb, Cremation site of Mahatama Gandhi – Rajghat, Red fort, Chandni Chowk and Jama Masjid – largest mosque in Asia.
    While touring around Delhi you will learn a lot of history of the monuments you will visit, life style of the residents of the capital city, Culture and tradition from our guide.

    Day 3 : Delhi to Jodhpur - Fly – 1100 / 1200 hrs – drive to Jaisalmer

    After leisurely breakfast transfer to Delhi Airport to board flight for Jodhpur. Meeting on arrival and straight drive to reach Jaisalmer. Arrive and check into the hotel for overnight stay.

    Day 4 : Jaisalmer

    After leisurely breakfast at hotel leave for full day tour around The Golden City visiting the Jaisalmer fort – The oldest Fort in the world, walk through the narrow lanes inside the Fort Complex, Visit Patwon-Ki-Haveli, Salim Singh-Ki-Haveli and Gaddi Sagar Lake.
    Afternoon leave for an excursion trip Sand dunes out side Jaisalmer where you will enjoy a camel ride in the thar Desert and see beautiful Sun setting (Between October and March – option of staying at tented camp at Sam Sand Dunes is available).

    Day 5 : Jaisalmer to Jodhpur – Drive 6 hrs

    Morning breakfast and leave for Jodhpur. Check in at hotel on arrival. Afternoon tour of jodhpur including hill Top Mehrangarh Fort, Jaswant Thada, Clock Tower and local bazaar around the tower.

    Day 6 : Jodhpur to Udaipur – Drive - 6 hrs

    Morning breakfast will be at the hotel. Later leave for Udaipur by car enroute visit Rohet Village to see the local life of Bishnoi’s of the region from close and Ranakpur Jain temple (open between 12 and 4 PM – This temple complex is of 15th century, containing 29 halls support by around 200 pillars – none of the pillar is alike.
    Arrive at Udaipur – The city of Lakes surrounded by Green Aravali hills. Check into the hotel. Rest of the evening at leisure.

    Day 7 : Udaipur

    Post breakfast commence sightseeing tour of Udaipur visiting City Palace – absorbing marvel in rooms with mirrored walls and ivory doors, colored glass windows and inlaid marble balconies.
    Later tour of lovely Sahelion-ki-Bari Gardens, the Jagdish Temple and the local folk Museum.
    Evening enjoy a motor launch blue waters of Lake Pichola seeing the city around the Lake, Majestic Lake Palace and City Palace and visit Jag Mandir Palace - island palace in side the lake.

    Day 8 : Udaipur to Nimaj – Drive 5 hrs

    Enjoy breakfast at hotel and drive to Nimaj and check into the hotel.
    Later visit Nimaj Fot build by Thakur Jagram Singh in 1733, Magar Mandi Temple – 9th Century, Villages of craftsmen. While driving around Chhatarsagar you will see Blackbucks and Blue Bulls wandering around. Later time permitting visit Chhatra Sagar Lake in the out skirts of Nimaj.

    Day 9 : Nimaj to Pushkar – Drive 2 hrs

    Early morning visit Nimaj village to absorb local life at dawn. See ladies milking their cows and men and women on their routine life.
    Later after relaxed breakfast a short drive till take you to the Holy town of Pushkar, Check into the hotel on arrival.
    Afternoon visit Brahma Temple – only temple being worshiped in India, walk around the Lakes and its many ghats to see people going through rituals, bathing in the sacred lake waters. While in Pushkar you will come across Holy men around the lake and in town.

    Day 10 : Pushkar to Ranthambore via Kishangarh – 5 hours

    Morning breakfast and drive to Ranthambore National Park via visiting Kishangarh Fort – best known for its Miniature Paintings, Handicrafts. Kishangarh is also houses largest marble and granite cutting industry in India.

    Day 11 : Ranthambore

    Early morning and afternoon game viewing in the Jungle to view variety of Wild animals including Tiger.

    Day 12 : Ranthambore to Bharatpur -5 hrs

    Morning leave for Bharatpur afte breakfast at the lodge. Check into the hotel on arrival.
    Afternoon explore Bharatpur Bird Sanctuary or Keoladio Ghana National Park to see over 350 species of birds including - Painted Storks, Open Bills, Spoonbills, Egrets, Cormorants, White Ibis and Siberian Cranes etc. Also enjoy rich flora and fauna of the sanctuary.
    Beside birds Sanctuary also hosts some of the wild animals like Striped Hyena, Fishing Cat, Golden Jackal, Jungle Cat, Nilgai, Sambar, Blackbuck, Wild Boar and Indian Python etc.

    Day 13 : Bharatpur to Agra – Drive 1 ½ hrs

    Early morning you may like to explore more of the sanctuary. After relaxed breakfast drive to Agra enroute visiting Fatehpur Sikri building complex with its courtyards, Palaces and Mosque.
    Arrive Agra and check into the hotel.
    Afternoon tour to visit Agra Fort and Taj Mahal. Overnight at the hotel.

    Day 14 : Agra to Gwalior – Drive 3 hours

    Early in the morning before Sunrise visit Mehtab Bagh (Garden) other end of River Yamuna to see Taj Mahal at Sunise in multi colors.
    After breakfast leave for Gwalior by car and check into the hotel on arrival.
    Afternoon visit Gwalior Fort, Man Mandir Palace- Built between 1486 & 1517, Gujari Mahal – built during 15th centruy, Sas Bahu ka Mandir – 11th century, Jai Vilas Palace – now residence of Scindia Family, Sun Temple, Ghaus Mohammed Tomb and Sarod Ghar – Music Museum.

    Day 15 : Gwalior to Jhansi – Short train ride – 0930 / 1045 hrs – Transfer to Orchha

    Morning breakfast and transfer to Train station to board super fast train for Jhansi. On arrival transfer to medieval temple town of Orchha and check into the hotel.
    Afternoon visit medieval temple complex. In the evening explore adjoining village to see local life of the region.

    Day 16 : Orchha to Khajuraho – drive 4 hours

    After breakfast in the morning leave for Khajuraho by car and check into the hotel on arrival.
    Afternoon tour of visit Western and Eastern group of Temples and their stunning stone carvings.

    Day 17 : Khajuraho to Varanasi – Fly

    Morning after breakfast some time free for self exploration. Late morning transfer to the airport to board flight for Varanasi. On arrival transfer to hotel.
    Evening visit River Ganges where you will enjoy your first glimpse of Holy River and enjoy boat ride at Sunset. You will have excellent Sun set views over the River.
    Later witness live prayer offered to River Ganges by young priests at Sunset at Daswamedh Ghat.

    Day 18 : At Varanasi

    Early in the morning leave for Daswamedh ghat again to have a boat ride at Dawn and float around the Ghats absorbing Hindu faith where you will see people having holy dips in the sacred waters which is routine for locals, washermen’s ghat and cremation site.
    Return to the hotel walking through narrow streets of Varanasi and visiting Banaras Hindu University and New Vishwanath Temple.
    Afternoon tour of Sarnath – Holy place for Buddhist where Lord Budhha delivered his first ceremony after enlightenment. Visit the ruins of Saranath, Temple and Sarnath Museum.
    Rest of the evening is free for self exploration.

    Day 19 : Varanasi to Delhi - Fly

    Morning after breakfast transfer to Varanasi Airport to board Delhi bound flight. On arrival in Delhi meeting and transfer to the hotel. Rest of the day free for independent activities.

    Day 20 : Depart Delhi

    Transfer to Delhi’s international Airport to board flight for home.
