Arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport: Upon your arrival at Kathmandu's international airport, you will be warmly greeted by our tour representative, who will assist you with your transfer to your hotel. Check in, unwind, and relax after your journey.

Afternoon Sightseeing:

Swayambhunath Stupa (Monkey Temple): After checking in, your first stop will be the Swayambhunath Stupa, one of the most iconic landmarks in Kathmandu. Situated atop a hill, it offers panoramic views of the Kathmandu Valley and the surrounding hills. The stupa is a major Buddhist pilgrimage site and is home to numerous shrines, stupas, and temples. It is famously known as the Monkey Temple due to the monkeys that roam the area. Here, you will witness the spiritual practices of both Buddhists and Hindus, as the site is revered by both faiths.
Kathmandu Durbar Square: The next stop will be the Kathmandu Durbar Square, the historic center of the city. This UNESCO World Heritage Site is a vast complex of palaces, temples, courtyards, and statues. The architecture here reflects the grandeur of the Malla kings, with intricate woodwork and impressive structures like the Kumari Ghar (home of the living goddess) and Hanuman Dhoka Palace. The lively square offers a glimpse into the cultural and historical richness of Kathmandu.
Evening in Thamel: In the evening, head to the bustling Thamel area, a hub for tourists. Here, you can explore the narrow streets filled with shops selling handicrafts, souvenirs, trekking gear, and Nepali artifacts. You can also enjoy a meal at one of the many local restaurants that serve traditional Nepali cuisine or international dishes. It’s the perfect place to experience Kathmandu’s lively atmosphere.

Breakfast at the hotel: Start your day with a delicious breakfast at the hotel, preparing you for a day of spiritual and cultural exploration.

Pashupatinath Temple: Your first stop will be the Pashupatinath Temple, one of the most sacred Hindu temples dedicated to Lord Shiva. Situated on the banks of the Bagmati River, this UNESCO World Heritage Site is one of the holiest places for Hindus worldwide. The temple complex is large, with intricately designed structures, ghats for cremation ceremonies, and a vibrant atmosphere of spirituality. While in the temple area, you can observe various rituals and ceremonies, including the famous Aarti (a Hindu prayer ritual involving fire) performed in the evening. The riverfront provides an evocative and serene setting, making it an unforgettable experience.

Boudhanath Stupa: After Pashupatinath, your next destination is Boudhanath Stupa, one of the largest and most significant Tibetan Buddhist stupas in the world. Lunch at a Local Restaurant: After a morning filled with cultural and spiritual exploration, stop for lunch at a traditional Nepali restaurant. Here, you can try local delicacies such as dal bhat (lentils with rice), momo (Nepali dumplings), and sel roti (a traditional Nepali rice doughnut). Enjoying these dishes gives you a true taste of Nepali flavors.

Bhaktapur Durbar Square: In the afternoon, head to Bhaktapur, an ancient city that is renowned for its well-preserved medieval architecture. The Bhaktapur Durbar Square is a UNESCO World Heritage Site known for its royal palaces, intricately designed temples, and charming courtyards. Among the key attractions are the Vatsala Temple, Bhairab Nath Temple, and the Golden Gate. Bhaktapur offers a glimpse into Nepal's rich history, culture, and artistry. You can also sample the famous King Curd (a traditional yogurt dessert) from local shops as you stroll through the cobbled streets.

Return to Kathmandu: After an enriching day, return to your hotel in Kathmandu and relax or explore the city further at your leisure.

Early Morning Drive to Nagarkot: Start your day early and head to Nagarkot, a hill station located about 32 kilometers east of Kathmandu. Known for its stunning panoramic views of the Himalayas, Nagarkot is a serene destination where you can enjoy the fresh mountain air and breathtaking landscapes. On clear days, you can even see the majestic Mount Everest and other Himalayan peaks. The morning is the perfect time to visit Nagarkot, as the sunrise view is absolutely mesmerizing.

Nagarkot Village Walk: After soaking in the mountain views, take a leisurely walk around the village, where you can enjoy the rural Nepali lifestyle, beautiful terraced fields, and the peaceful environment.

Visit Patan Durbar Square: After returning to Kathmandu, your final sightseeing stop will be the Patan Durbar Square, located in the heart of Patan (also known as Lalitpur). Like Kathmandu and Bhaktapur, Patan Durbar Square is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and is famous for its classical Newar architecture. The square houses temples, shrines, courtyards, and the Patan Museum, which displays a fine collection of traditional Nepali art. You can also visit the Golden Temple and Mahabouddha Temple, two examples of Patan’s rich architectural heritage.

Evening at Leisure: After a full day of sightseeing, spend your evening at leisure. You may choose to explore more local markets or enjoy a relaxing dinner at your hotel or a nearby restaurant.

Breakfast at the hotel: On your final day, enjoy a hearty breakfast at your hotel and reflect on the memories of the past few days in Kathmandu.

Leisure Morning: If time permits before your flight, you can indulge in some last-minute shopping at Thamel or visit nearby temples or shops for souvenirs. You can pick up unique handicrafts such as Tibetan carpets, wooden masks, Nepali jewelry, and hand-painted thangkas.

Transfer to Tribhuvan International Airport: Our representative will transfer you to the airport for your flight back home, carrying with you memories of a beautiful and enriching trip to Kathmandu.
