The route unfolds like this

Arrive at Paro Airport, Bhutan, and enjoy a scenic 1.5-hour drive to the capital, Thimphu.
On the way, stop to explore Tashog Lhakhang, a monastery with a traditional iron chain bridge.
Upon arrival in Thimphu, visit Tashicho Dzong, the royal fortress that houses the seat of Bhutan’s king and government.
Depending on time, you can explore more of the city’s attractions, such as local markets and landmarks.
