15 Days Rajasthan Forts and Palaces Tour

Arrive at Delhi International Airport where you will be welcomed and transferred to your hotel. The remainder of the day is free to relax or explore nearby markets and attractions at your leisure.

Overnight in Delhi.

Enjoy a full-day tour of Old and New Delhi. Visit Jama Masjid, one of India's largest mosques, and experience a rickshaw ride through the bustling lanes of Chandni Chowk. Continue to Raj Ghat, Humayun's Tomb, Qutub Minar, India Gate, Parliament House, and the Presidential Palace.

Drive to Mandawa in the Shekhawati region, often referred to as Rajasthan's open-air art gallery. Explore the town's beautifully painted havelis adorned with intricate frescoes depicting mythology, colonial influences, and everyday life.

After breakfast, drive to Bikaner, a historic desert city founded in the 15th century. Visit the magnificent Junagarh Fort, known for its ornate palaces, courtyards, and museums. Later explore local bazaars and the famous camel-breeding region.

Journey through the fascinating landscapes of the Thar Desert to Jaisalmer, the Golden City. Watch the scenery transform into vast desert plains dotted with traditional villages and sand dunes.

Morning sight seeing tour of Jaisalmer city visiting The Golden Fort of 99 Bastions, Manek Chowk, Patwon Ki Haveli and Salim Singh Haveli (the old Mansions with lattice work done on the walls).
Afternoon proceed to Sam Sand Dunes (1 hour drive). Check in at Swiss Cottage tented camp on arrival. Buffet lunch at the camp. Later commence Camel ride through the deserts and see beautiful Sunset view. Buffet dinner at the camp. Your evening will be entertained with folk dances, puppet show and music by the camp fire.

Drive to Jodhpur, famously known as the Blue City. Upon arrival, explore the bustling Clock Tower Market and the vibrant old city lanes painted in shades of blue.

Visit the imposing Mehrangarh Fort, one of India's most spectacular forts, offering panoramic views of the city. Continue to Jaswant Thada, a beautiful marble cenotaph, and visit the Umaid Bhawan Palace Museum, still partly occupied by the royal family.

Drive to Udaipur, stopping en route at the stunning Ranakpur Jain Temples, famous for their exquisite marble architecture and 1,444 uniquely carved pillars. Continue through the scenic Aravalli Hills to Udaipur.

Discover the romance of Udaipur, the City of Lakes. Visit the magnificent City Palace overlooking Lake Pichola, Jagdish Temple, Saheliyon Ki Bari (Garden of Maidens), and enjoy a relaxing boat ride on Lake Pichola, passing the famous Lake Palace and Jag Mandir.

Drive to Pushkar, one of India's most sacred pilgrimage towns. Visit the holy Pushkar Lake surrounded by ghats and temples and explore the rare Brahma Temple, dedicated to Lord Brahma.

After a leisurely morning in Pushkar, drive to Jaipur, Rajasthan's vibrant Pink City. Spend the evening exploring colorful markets famous for textiles, gemstones, handicrafts, and traditional Rajasthani souvenirs.

Visit the majestic Amber Fort and enjoy panoramic views of the surrounding hills. Continue to the City Palace, Jantar Mantar Observatory (UNESCO World Heritage Site), and photograph the iconic Hawa Mahal (Palace of Winds). Experience Jaipur's rich royal heritage and vibrant culture.

Drive to Agra, stopping en route at Fatehpur Sikri, the abandoned Mughal capital built by Emperor Akbar. Explore its palaces, courtyards, and mosques before continuing to Agra. Later visit the impressive Agra Fort overlooking the Yamuna River.

Early morning visit to the world-famous Taj Mahal (remain closed on Fridays), a timeless symbol of love and one of the Seven Wonders of the World. After breakfast, drive back to Delhi and transfer to the airport for your onward flight.
